Leveraging Technology to Bring Trust Back into Luxury Transactions

Inner Circle Salon Luncheon

Counterfeit products have infiltrated commerce across nearly every vertical, and as supply chains get more opaque and commerce transactions get more distant, the problem is only getting bigger. But combatting fakes is a complex task, and law enforcement can only do so much. What’s needed is another approach, one that is objective and readily available to private brands, government agents or even consumers.

At this luncheon, CEO of Entrupy Vidyuth Srinivasan, will share with attendees of the luncheon how the company is using machine learning technology to bring trust back into transactions of luxury products. He will demonstrate how, using a handheld scanner and a mobile app, everyone from customs agents to pawn shop owners can identify authentic products with 98% accuracy, and share his vision where a close public/private partnership can bring about quicker intelligence turnaround on counterfeit incidents and curb the production of these goods so fewer make it to the supply chain.
