About Bernard Lambert

Bernard Lambert, - CEO, Société des Bains de Mer, originally from Nice, graduated from hotelier school in his home town and began his career in the Hôtels Meurice group, Prince de Galles and Grand Hôtel Paris.

In January 1974, he joined the Méridien group and occupied various positions in operations and marketing in Paris. He was later named Managing Director in Boston in 1984, Vice-President for Brazil and South America in 1989, and Assistant Managing Director of Operations for the group in 1991.

When Méridien was taken over by the Forte group, Bernard Lambert was named Assistant Managing Director of the group and 1997 he was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer in. He was voted "Hotelier of the World" in 2000.

In February 2002, he became Chief Executive Officer of the Société des Bains de Mer. The experience he gained throughout his long career enabled him to set up successful joint casino and hotel management. He has since developed partnerships to ensure a wider recognition and audience of the Société des Bains de Mer brand worldwide. Although he is the keeper of a legendary past, he is resolutely turned towards the future.
