The Changing Nature of the Luxury Customer:

Inside the "Middle-Class Millionaire"

Presented by Mr. Lewis Schiff, co-author of The Middle-Class Millionaire: The Rise of the New Rich and How They Are Changing America

Introduced by Mr. Richard J. Flynn, co-author of Fame & Fortune: Maximizing Celebrity Wealth

With special thanks to Rothstein Kass

Sandwiched between the rich and the middle class are 8.4 million American households with a net worth between $1 million and $10 million. In the book The Middle-Class Millionaire, co-written with Russ Alan Prince, Lewis Schiff presents intriguing statistical nuggets from their survey of 586 middle-class millionaire households. Although these people may be rich by most definitions, many were raised middle class, earned rather than inherited their wealth and still retain middle-class values. Comparing the responses of middle-class millionaires to middle-class households with less than $1 million net worth, Prince and Schiff determine that middle-class millionaires work harder, suffer more setbacks, choose homes for quality schools rather than convenience to work or shopping and have larger social networks.

Join us on Thursday May 29th at Fleishman-Hillard where Lewis Schiff will elaborate on key findings in his book and share insights on the changing luxury consumer.

Copies of The Middle-Class Millionaire and Fame & Fortune will be provided for registered guests with compliments from Rothstein Kass.
