Authors Michael Stallard, President of E Pluribus Partners, and Jason Pankau, a partner at the firm, will present on how you can inspire your employees to develop a better understanding of your best customers in order to communicate with them more successfully. They, along with Carolyn Dewing-Hommes, wrote the recently published book entitled Fired Up or Burned Out: How to Reignite Your Team’s Passion, Creativity and Productivity.

About our Speakers:
Michael Stallard
Co-founder and President, E Pluribus Partners
Michael is a strategist, marketer, and consultant with a long-held interest in understanding human attitudes and behaviors. He is a co-founder and the president of E Pluribus Partners. Previously he was managing director, chief marketing and strategy officer at the U.S. Trust business of Charles Schwab and principal, chief marketing officer at the global private wealth management business of Morgan Stanley. Earlier in his career, Michael gained broad business experience in marketing, finance and business development-related positions at Texas Instruments and Barclays Bank, PLC. He was part of the management team that teamed up with the private equity firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice in the successful purchase and sale of the mutual fund manager Van Kampen Merritt.
Recognized as a thought leader in the areas of marketing and how to engage people who work on the front lines of a business, Michael has spoken at conferences organized by Fortune magazine, The World Presidents’ Organization, the American Bankers Association, The Corporate Executive Board’s VIP Forum, and the Investment Company Institute. His insights have been featured in the media including most recently on Fox Business Now and in The New York Times. He is the primary author of the book Fired Up or Burned Out and authored a chapter in the book What Managers Say, What Employees Hear: Connecting With Your Front Line (So They’ll Connect with Customers). The latter book includes contributions from several Harvard Business School professors and well-known author-consultants. It was edited by Regina Maruca, a former senior editor of Harvard Business Review. The chapter is about how great leaders create environments that unlock productivity and lift the human spirit.
Michael’s educational background includes a bachelors degree in marketing from Illinois State University, a masters degree in business from University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and a law degree from DePaul University Law School. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1991. He resides with his wife and two daughters in Greenwich, CT.

Jason Pankau
Co-founder and Partner, E Pluribus Partners
Jason Pankau, a cofounder and partner at E Pluribus Partners, is the president of Life Spring Network, an organization that promotes spiritual growth. Previously, Jason was an associate pastor at Stanwich Congregational Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he focused on mentoring and leadership development. He serves as a consultant and life coach to many corporate executives and ministers. He is sought out as a speaker by organizations for his wisdom in teaching leadership and mentoring leaders.
Jason earned a B.S. from Brown University in business economics and organizational behavior/management. He was captain and pre-season All-American linebacker in football, school record holder in discus, and national qualifier in track while at Brown. Jason earned a Masters of Divinity from Southern Theological Seminary. He is presently completing a doctorate degree in leadership at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Jason resides with his wife and four children in Stamford, CT.
